CPE Program Policies

At Amplification Institute, we are committed to providing high-quality continuing education that meets the needs of accounting professionals. The following policies govern our CPE programs and ensure compliance with NASBA standards.

Record Retention Policy

Amplification Institute maintains comprehensive program documentation for a minimum of five years from program completion date. This includes detailed records of participation, program dates and locations, instructor information including license details for accounting professionals, program content materials, participant evaluations, and CPE credit calculations. For CPAs, tax attorneys, and other licensed professionals involved in accounting, auditing, or tax programs, we maintain license information including state of licensure, license number, and current status. For enrolled agents participating in tax programs, enrolled agent numbers are documented and retained.

Registration & Refund Policy

Due to our limited class sizes, Amplification Institute does not offer refunds for CPE programs. Instead, we provide course credits for future sessions when cancellation notice is given at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled event. This credit policy helps us maintain our small, focused learning environments while offering flexibility to participants with changing schedules.

Program Cancellation Policy

In the event Amplification Institute needs to cancel a scheduled CPE program, we are committed to providing timely notification and appropriate compensation to registered participants. We will make every effort to provide at least 24 hours' notice when possible.

If a program is canceled, all registered participants will be notified immediately via email using the contact information provided during registration. The cancellation notice will include the reason for cancellation and options for rescheduling or refunding.

All participants of canceled programs will receive a full refund of their registration fees. Refunds will be processed automatically within 5 business days using the original payment method.

For last-minute cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice) due to emergency circumstances, instructor illness, or insufficient enrollment, we will make every attempt to contact participants via both email and phone.

Complaint Resolution Policy

Amplification Institute values participant feedback and takes all concerns seriously. If you encounter any issues with our CPE programs or services, we have established the following procedure to address and resolve complaints:

  1. All complaints should be submitted in writing to our CEO.

  2. Complaints will be acknowledged within 2 business days of receipt.

  3. The CEO will conduct a thorough review of the complaint and respond with findings or a resolution plan within 10 business days.

  4. All complaints and their resolutions will be documented and retained for a minimum of one year.

For more information regarding administrative policies such as complaints, please contact Marie Monet, CEO, at contact@amplificationinstitute.com or 470-394-4761.

Course Update Policy

All course materials clearly display the most recent publication, revision, or review date. For group live and group internet-based programs, the revision or review date is the date of the event.

Courses are revised as soon as feasible following changes to relevant tax codes, laws and regulations, professional standards, industry best practices, technology platforms, or authoritative rulings.

Courses covering subject matter that undergoes frequent changes (including tax regulations, accounting standards, and emerging technologies) are reviewed by qualified subject matter experts at least once every calendar year. All other courses are reviewed at minimum once every two years.

Each course review is documented with the name and credentials of the reviewer, date of review, summary of changes made (if any), and certification that content remains current and accurate if no changes were made.
